Body swapping a mustang

Body swapping a mustang
Does anyone here know how hard/possible swapping the bodies of two mustangs would be?
The first mustang is a late 1960s notchback with a ruined interior and an automatic transmission but the body has only minor rust and no dents.
The second mustang would be a 4th generation(likely new edge) gt with a manual transmission.
I am thinking of a stripped out interior.
Is any of this possible? Would it cost tens of thousands of dollars

The difference in construction on the cars will probably make it a job for a professional, and cost as much as buying another car. To get the panels from the older one onto the newer unibody built car will be a monumental hurdle IMHO. But, as an old electrician told me once, "You can get a back up light on a mule's butt to work if you just wire it up right."
Good luck.

Sounds like a project... I know it can be done. All it takes is time and money. Probably lots of both. Have fun!
