Best/cheapest way to do spoiler delete?

When I installed my GT500 spoiler I realized I kind of like the way my car looked with no spoiler at all. I'm now considering ditching the spoiler and making the car look more "clean." I know there are a lot of people on here who have done a spoiler delete, so I wanted to know the best way to go about it. If I were to take it to a shop, what would be a fair price to pay to have something like that done?

Maybe find a trunk lid and have the best of both worlds. You just need one totaled orange mustang. Can't be that hard to find, could it? Maybe thishttp://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-2009-Mu...-/190914517448

I did see a guy remove his spoiler and put plugs in the screw holes. They even matched the color.

Yeah, I'm gonna call up a few local shops tomorrow and see how much they would charge to cover up the holes and re-paint the trunklid. What should I expect to pay for that? $200-300 maybe?

I was quoted $700-800 to take off my spoiler, fill the holes, and repaint. That seems absurd to me...
