best/any way to leave the key fob locked in the car?

So I'm almost ready to close the deal on a '17 GT base auto (well it has the 19" wheel/tire package). I liked the scat pack Dodge's but they're just too **** enormous to me.

Anyway, the GT has push button start. I want to be able to leave the fob in the car somewhere, while I go running.

In my current car (Jetta w/no push button start). I can lock it in the glove and I made a plain aluminum key copy that I lock the doors with and the glove.

Just much lighter and less bulky for me since I run a fair amount of miles everyday outside.

Can this be done with the Mustang or do I have to invest in some kind of magnetic pouch to put the fob in?
I don't want to hide fob in the woods while I run.

Any runners/surfers out there have this issue?

Ok may have answered my own question. Looks like the key pad attachment may solve this.
