Is your current Mustang an auto or a manual? If you're getting an '05, answer with which option you'll choose on that car.

Lord Chabelo 4/26/04 11:37 AM

Manual, the only way to drive a stang!

atom777 4/26/04 12:15 PM

manual.. why would you wanna lose out on all that fun?!?!?!

BullittMustang50 4/26/04 03:15 PM

Manual...No Doubt its just more fun then an auto

ford1 4/26/04 04:10 PM

Manual has more of a ''Fun Factor" but the automatic is the way I would go for a everday driver.

'Stang05 4/26/04 04:47 PM

this is what i do to automatics :flame2:
I <3 manuals

My89Ford 4/26/04 04:58 PM

Manual, of course. Drivin' an automatic makes me feel like a passenger.

Lalo 4/26/04 05:18 PM

when i get the new mustang, i will be driving a manual, whether its a V6 or a BOSS

ManEHawke 4/26/04 05:30 PM

yeah what everyone said. blah blah blah I love manual.

houtex 4/26/04 06:14 PM

I don't know. I'm going to put down automatic I think.

On the one hand, Manual does allow one to choose the gear you want, and you can slam it into gears, mostly, without much damage. And they are fun.

On the other hand, (if it comes with PRND21) you can select the gear on the automatic, and just let it do the work. Easier in rush hour. And there's no clutches to change every 50K miles. I haven't ever had to replace the tranny on my cars (yet), and I knows I'm punishing them by shifting them manually. Mark VIII, Mark VII, '66 Tbird, '66 Mustang '65 Mustang. No tranny problems. (Now that I said that, I'll have to get one, right?)

Decisions decisions. Manumatic. Yeah, that's what I'll get. :D

I have to go with manual. I miss the fun of driving.

I know tell me about it. I love manual so much that i'd pay for that even if auto was cheaper.

Don't give them any ideas. :-D

hatsharpener 4/27/04 12:00 AM

stick...the only way to drive :)

snakeeyes 4/27/04 12:24 AM

I drive a truck for a living so I have the "pleasure" of shifting gears all day long.
When I get in my car I just want to relax and drive. Besides, no mater how good you think you are,an auto will beat a manual at the strip all day long, everything else being equal.

AgentJ 4/27/04 02:10 AM

Clogged weekday driving... Automatic for me  :dunno:

derynf 4/27/04 08:11 AM

I live on one side of those "classic car commercial mountain" roads and work on the other. Manual for me.

GhostTX 4/27/04 09:06 AM

Isn't it a sin to have an automatic in a sports car? :P
