Any Saleen experts here?

Spotted this absolutely stunning Saleen tonite, probably one of the most beautiful S197s I've seen so far. I couldn't find the owner to pick his brain.

For any of you Saleen weenies....is that hood part of the conversion? How about the blue suede inserts on the seats?

I'm telling ya, I just fell in love with this Mustang.

That's not a Saleen. The hood is probably a Cervini, but I could be wrong on that.

Not being an expert, I assumed it was by the rear badging.

Can you elaborate?

Def not. Just mods. Looks like the owner just liked the badge and put it on his/her car.

Nothing about it is "Saleen" except that emblem, which I've never seen on a Saleen S197.

The front bumper is from Roush, the hood is probably a Cervini. This is what a S197 Saleen mustang looks like.

Yep not a saleen at all, but a lot of various parts including one or two maybe actual saleen parts.

My expert opinion is that the only reason the "Saleen" badge is on there is because of the supercharger (hence GT/SC). You can trust me, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Roush front end, Ford GT style wheels, GT500 rear end, Shelby GT side badges, Cervini Stalker hood (or replica), GT500 front brakes... tastefully done though...

That's what I figured. The emblem says "Saleen Supercharged", so I assume he has an SMS supercharger under the hood and wants to advertise it.

It's better than all the Saleen-clones I see here in SoCal.

Oh, and Saleen is in my city. I pass it everyday, where they had some mustangs outside and have a huge mural of the S7 facing the freeway. Gotta rep Corona, California baby!
