Ant infrstation..... -_-
So I park in the grass, well use to now. And with all the rain I guess the ants were driven out of the ground.... and in to my car. I have seen them just about everywhere. I went to squash a few earlier and I tapped on the passenger side door sill, yea that was a mistake. Ants came pouring out. And when I lifted off the sill, my eyes about popped out. TONS of ants, eggs, the whole bit. Spectracide ant shield as soon as I get home. Soooooo pissed...... fml

My mom had a mid 90s Toyota rav4 when I lived at home, and somehow she got an infestation of flying ants in that thing once and they came flying out the vents when she turned the A/C on while she was driving me to a friends house. Straight up horror movie s***. Freaked us both out really bad.

I feel ya - I have a bit of a spider problem from time to time myself - I use Spectracide to spray around the house and what not - I make two circles around the car now and with nothing to eat, hopefully they'll all be gone soon. Also some lawn spray goes a long way in keeping critters away from your house & driveway. I have two drains on either side of the street so I know roaches are always a potential problem - and with the woods nearby, everything known to nature can make it's way to my home.
First thing is secure the perimeter with some type of ant spray / guard like I mentioned above. Vacuum all the critters you can find and hopefully they won't find anything to munch on, though you'd be surprised the things ants *can* eat... like asphalt. Clear out any food/crumbs and remove the incentive. I wouldn't recommend spraying anything in the car as you will smell it and likely get sick. Perhaps you could use some dry ant poison/bait if you remove it after they're gone.
