All the little rivalries . . .
One aspect I enjoy about Mustangs are the little rivalries that have become recent commonplace among model years. Some are more fierce than others, but for the most part most are pretty civil between owners on both sides.
Here is a little list of ones that come to mind for me. Any I missed?
'03/'04 Mach 1 vs. '99/'01 Cobra
'99-'04 New Edge vs. S197
5.0 OHV vs. 4.6/5.4 OHC
Foxes vs. SN95
'03/04 Cobra vs. GT500
4-Eyed Foxes vs. 'Aero' Foxes
'03/'04 Mach vs. '05+ GT
2000 Cobra R vs. '03/'04 Cobra
SVT vs. Shelby
SOHC vs. DOHC
Saleen vs. Roush vs. Steeda

Simple. It was long ago. The SN95's were not exactly accepted into the "Old-School" Mustang Collector's. For those of you old enough, this was really nothing new. Remember back to the Original Fox Body's, and II's also. MCA has come a long way. And ALL for the good also. While is was questionable back then to accept "Resto-mods", it has become there life line. Now-a-days, all those Old-Schooler's also have either SN95's or our S197's, in there stables.

'01 Bullitt vs 03-04 Mach 1
There was a comparo article where the Bullitt didnt do too bad. Mach 1 owns horsepower wise, but the stiffness of the suspension in the Bullitt was praised over the soft Mach's
