Hi guys & gals I just recently purchased a 98 mustang gt 5 speed.. After driving around and cruising and romping around I have noticed I don't think I have stock gear in the rear?? I was told you can be on flat ground have the car in 2nd gear, and be able to smoke the tires just be dumping the clutch to tell if it has any kind of gearing?? Is this true? How would I be able to tell w/o pulling off the cover on the rear end? any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks

 

Dumping in 2nd with the stock 225-235's won't prove much, I'd imagine it would spin a lot even with the stock gears.
