65 & 67 Mustang

Is it possible to transform a 65 Mustang Coupe into 67 Mustang Fastback? Do they have the same chasis, engine compartment? Can the interior (console, gauges, ...) be changed from a 65 to be the same as a 67 or are they already the same? Basically, can a 65 Mustang Coupe be transformed into a 67 Mustang Fastback with ELEANOR kit ... Thanks for the advice in advance guys

That's always been my understanding. It had to be expanded to allow for the 390/427 block. Along with the longer/lower/wider mantra of the '60s.
