Dallas was 14 with snow the other day. I'm currently in Houston and it was 22 last night, similar tonight and possible 'snow' tomorrow night. Personally I'd like to see a foot or better down here, but it ain't going to happen. There were rolling blackouts this morning due to high power demand.
Houston is messed up enough trying to drive on a regular day - try it with no stoplights!

Yes. It snowed in Houston on Christmas Eve 2004. It was glorious, I was SO pumped about it:

I dunno if you'd call it exactly a 'snowstorm' here, but it was very cool to have a white Christmas that year.
I want to say it snowed last year, and the year before. So I'm really looking forward to it this year too.

You've never been down here, have you?
Following distance is defined as 'not touching the car in front of you'.
Exception: If they're going less than 20 over, you can push them.
Red Light: We'd appreciate it if you'd slow down going through the intersection.
Turn Signal: Only used to tell someone you're moving into their lane whether they get out of the way or not.
Fishtailling: How to leave The Bar, Starbucks, The grocery store, or the police station after paying your last ticket.
That will give you a little hint of why RAIN is so exciting; snow moves to a whole other level of game play!

I usually like winter, but this one is grinding on me. Too many and too long of snowstorms, and Denver is much better than the midwest and northeast. I don't think they'll ever top 45. It hits 60 here, all the snow melts, and it's like an early spring, til the next March or April storm at least.

I think I've mentioned I'm working in western Wyoming / Utah, with a 53 mile one-way drive each day to the project. Here's the same photo taken 48 hours apart (Monday / Wednesday) on a road with the warning of 'Windy with Slick Spots':
This is on a ridge, so if you head over the side it's 2000 feet to the floor of the valley. Wind gusts regularly exceed 100 MPH, and this was actually one of the 'clearer' spots.
