Personally I dont think itll make 1000 laps. Even at 31mpg the ENTIRE time and using all 16 gallons it would only go 930.58 laps before running out. So how many laps you guys think itll make on a single tank?

Just for reference it has a 16.0gal tank and a single lap is 0.533 miles at BMS.

 

No it will get over 1000 laps if the let them drive slower than 60. Like for example 40 mph with the A/C off and windows down to stay cool. The new epa hwy testing includes speeds up to 80 mph and running the A/C. They should get close to 38 mpg. So about 1140 laps.

Let's be conservative...
Assume 31MPG new EPA standards would equal at least 33MPG old standards.
Assume that if you stay at a steady 55 you can get at least 1 MPG more than the old standard (I know I can).
34MPG X 16gal. = 544mi.
0.533mi. X 1000 = 533mi.

 

I guessed they would get atleast 40mpg. The epa numbers are always idiot numbers, you can always do better then them.
