I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and get one, but don't know if I should try to find a 10 GT with the track pack or go with a 11 V6 performance package. After x-plan pricing and rebates I'm trying not to spend over $26K any opionions????

 

wait a year and get a used 2011 with low miles.. that is what i am going to do. Ford is asking too much for a GT premium and then the dealers are marking them up 30-40%...

 

The 2011 V6 is a helluva bargin, honestly thats where affordable performance is going. They are the LX cars of the new millenium.

Now if Ford would just adjust that **** speed limiter

 

I just bought the V6 Performance package and pick it up tomorrow. Next week I will order the procharger as the numbers look pretty good. 475 crank and 425 RWHP. I was able to work a nice deal and traded my GT 500. I know you say are you nuts? I loved the car but it is a DD and I commute 30 miles to work and it was killing me on fuel. Other costs associated with this change will save $3K a year as well. Family health issues, costs of our health insurance went way up and work in the shop is slow.
