I am thinking spoiler delete. Both my 91, 92 LX 5.0's were notchbacks... didnt need all the wings and ground effects back then.. dont need em now.

This is definitely closer than I thought... I never though there wore so many people in favour of spoiler deletes...

I think when it comes time to buy the car most salesman won't even know there is a delete available... I am sure every GT that goes to the dealership will have one.

I'm willing to bet that at least a few of the people who voted for the delete option did so because they don't like that *particular* spoiler, and they plan to stick something else on. Everyone shouting out "ducktail" should be a big clue. Maybe three choices would have been better for this poll:

Factory Spoiler
No Spoiler
Other (i.e. mod)

I like the spoiler - but I also like the clean lines of the Mustang without it.
When I order mine, I will probably delete it if I can, but if not, I wouldn't mind either.
(Does that mean I can't make up my mind?)
Now I gotta figure out what color to order.
Oh, decisions, decisions.
The good news is that my wife said that I can order a new GT as long as it is a vert!
Hooray!

spoiler works for me.

Cab forward design does not.

Looks German.

No spoiler for me. At least not that one. Maybe not any.

I don't get the cab forward comment. Cab forward means that, well, the cabin is situated very close to the front of the the car. If you are referring to the 05 Mustang here there has got to be six inches of space between the leading edge of the fron door and the front wheel wells. We haven't seen that on a Mustang in over thirty years. Nothing could be less "cab forward" than that. The true long hood/ short deck design is back with a vengence IMHO.

Huh? What car are you looking at?
Or maybe "cab forward" is not the term you meant to use, because the new Mustang is no such design.

I like the spoiler. My favorite Stang has always been the 69 and I always liked the simple spoilers they put on em. The 05 spoiler reminds me a lot of that one.

I say spoiler. I just really like fast looking cars. I never liked the sleeper look.
