I Have a1971 mustang, I want to put a different shifter in it, any suggestions...it is a auto 351 cleveland....thanks

Actually, *if* you can find them, Ford had a "U" or Horseshoe shifter I always thought was cool... circa late 60's... (pic may not be actual Ford shifter, but it was close)
- kinda like an aircraft throttle...

 

Does it fit an fmx transmission?

 

I'm not sure - If the FMX has the same mounts as a C6, then I would say yes, being it was a "GT" type option for those models (with big blocks & C6's) - but again, I am not 100%.

 

I've always really liked the Megashifter; ratcheting through the gears is alot of fun
