They're using a classic Charger. Daisy drives a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

You know better than that. :nono:

They already let one mustang beat the General Lee. I doubt they'd do it again.

Oh, yeah......

They are filming around here. I've seen pics of the general lee on TV, but nothing else. THey've been blocking off streets in Baton Rouge and New Orleans to film.

boy did dodge fail with that new charger(IMO anyway) how can you take a muscle car and turn it into a four door sedan. it should have at least resembled the charger like ford did with the mustang.

oh and I can't wait to see the movie

^ i like the charger. ::looks around and sees no one is standin near him::

the only thing it needs is a coupe in addition to the four door. great for the car guy who has kids bigger than 2'4"

My guess would be that the 67 will be the Ol' 00 the only car to beat the General in an overland race, the only other Stang to run and beat the General was Lucifer that was driven by the same woman who played Pinky Tuscadaro on Happy Days...either that or it will just be sitting in the backround

I am going to have to join in with future9er24 on this one, even if I am a Bears fan. I too am getting tired of everyone talking about Eleanor. IT'S A MUSTANG! And honestly, who needs 8 driving lamps (yes, I counted)? I am sure not everyone agrees with this, and yes it looked great in the movie, but can I have my stock Shelby back please?

It looks like it should be pretty good, it's directed by the guy that brought us Super Troopers, has Seann William Scott in it and how could a movie be bad that has Jessica Simpson wearing daisy dukes?
