Thumbs down

I don't know about this
Never-mind the vertical doors, but an '05 nose on a '99-'04 ?
Saw the ad for this in-between the pages about the '05 Saleens in the newest 5.0 mag that came in the mail this weekend. Thought someone would find it amusing.

The web site is - http://puremustangperformance.com/

Hmm, interesting. Not for me but hey, why not? How many of us are trying to make our 05s look like Shelbys with stripes, scoops, 1/4 window louvers etc.? Besides, this is the most sincere form of flattery! JMHO.

If you have the money do it. Personally I don't like it, just like I don't like any of the 05 Eleanor wanna-be's either. A lot of us have the 05 and want to make it look like the late 60's models. This guy to a recent model and wanted to make it look like an 05. personally, he should have just bought a new car instead.

i don't think it looks that bad
i personally would not want it, but to each their own.
maybe he got tired of being C/U and getting the run around from ford. 05 GTs are not exactly "easy" to come by right now...

It looks a little bug-eyed... maybe it was out at the bar too late last night?

I would never do that to the 2000 Stang I had just because I dont like my car looking like something its not. However, I think it looks great!! I dont think that anyone that liked the body style of 99-04 would say that its ugly or that they would not buy that car if thats what it looked liked from factory. In other words I think it looks better than factory for those years. I wish my 2000 model was built like that from factory. I dont care for the vertical doors though.

Quote from the page "Our latest product, vertical door kits, have taken the market for a complete 360."

Wouldn't that mean that their kits have taken the market back to where it started?

I personally don't see whats so bad about it. Would I do it to my car... NO, but thats because I like mine as it is. I think it looks very nice minus the vertical doors. I don't like those. But overall And if someone wants to do it more power to them, its better than some of this kits going on our cars.

It would have been cool if this was 2003, but it's 2005.
