IB has developed (beta) a new Android TMS (among their other brands) App named . . . "Garage Talk."

You can go to the Play store and search "garage talk" and find the App. This app will also allow one to view other IB forums if interested as well (like the last IB app). I've been using it for a few days.

(THE APPLE VERSION WILL BE OUT SOON, BUT I DO NOT HAVE AN EXACT DATE.)

Thank for the update! I was wondering why I was getting a parsing error, then found the other threads. I was thinking there was something wrong my my phone, or wireless.

Do you know an approximate time for when we could expect the iphone version?

 

I guess from the lack of action on this thread its going to be a while till we get the iphone app.

 

Could be tomorrow, could be June 1st, etc. IB is awaiting Apple's approval for the app . . .

 

OK, I saw on another forum that they were still waiting for approval, I thought you might have had some more info.

 

Nothing definitive . . . that's why I haven't posted any updates. It was supposed to have already been approved. If I don't get an update by 6/1 I will contact IB and ask for one.

No love for Windows Phone? Wow...

 

Although, when Windows Phone 10 comes out, all Android/IOS apps can be ported over basically with the click of a button. I hope yall consider that when the time comes

Thanks for the update, at least we now know why its been taking so long. With them giving full login access to apple now maybe it wont be much longer.

 

Finally can use the app on iPhones again! Never had time to get on my computer so I've been without this site until now since they finally fixed/changed the app

 

Hadn't seen anyone post, but the Apple app has gone live. Unfortunately, it still needs work. The pics and attachments do not work reliably, the screen is always locked in portrait mode, I've had issues with pics not uploading sometimes (the bar is green all the way and then it turns red).

Also, it says I have "10 posts." Lol not a big deal, but like I said it still needs work. The overall appearance of the app is very "android looking" to me, though if it just worked I wouldn't really care. The app needs to be optimized for iPhone 6 and 6+ too. Currently it's optimized for iPhone 5 and scaled up, so the keyboard is awkwardly bigger than normal. I appreciate the efforts though, so hopefully they can get those issues ironed out on an update soon...

 

I agree with everything you've said. I think the reason you can upload a pic is because the app isn't optimized for iPhone 6 just the 5. If I reduce the resolution of a pic taken with the phone it's able to be uploaded. I also have a problem with clicking on an image to zoom in. It jumps to a different picture or won't zoom at all.
