Well I am going to attempt installing a BlueRay in my pc to make it a tinsy bit better.

it's almost too sweet to type & watch HD Blu-ray @ the same time it's sweet and a single disc is like 25 gigs I have not ripped a movie as yet but watching is cool for a pc and was only 219.00

 

I don't have Blu-Ray for computer yet. My computers are too old for upgrades, actually they aren't but I refuse to upgrade, I want a new one. I do love my Blu-Ray in my home theater. It's gorgeous.

We were lucky.
Four days without power and water was enough.Five without cable,phone and net wasn't fun either.
So many are still without. My heart goes out to them.
I've seen so many people stepping up and helping others. It restores your faith in mankind.
We were on the "clean" side of the storm. Our son lives where the "dirty" side hit. Well, pretty much the eye went really close to his place. His condo is fine, but some of his neighbors have damage. It's odd how storms pick and choose what they destroy.

Anyway, if you have a moment,please send good thoughts to everyone who was in Ike's path.

Will do that mam glad your family is ok ! & my heart really does go out to those not so fortunate and has suffered such a tramatic loss. I thought that if it is Hurricane season that way that people like F.E.M.A would have stuff kinda set in motion incase ?

my family just got power back yesterday and with the semi blackout they having going on down there i have not seen many pictures. a buddy shot me a link last night and all i can say is, good gawd. most of my childhood memories are of my parents taking me and my brother down to galveston. it is hard to believe that some places down there are wiped off of the face of the earth.

most were lucky and some were not, thoughts and prayers go out to my homeland which the people are stepping up and taking care of there own. texas, it is like disneyland.......... the greatest place on earth!

That's a great cause, and it's great that you and your ex have raised a son willing to do something like that for a cause he believes in.

 

Yes he still has a good head but do not want it to run arrey so we have him in cadets now to get the respect part down a bit more so, its tough some times because he go's both homes he's smart enough to play us, but were smart enough to catch on. Kids you know it's in thier nature. I was almost giving it some thought on the head too ? Wed Oct 1/08 even my day off.
