I bought an outdoor dog bed for my dogs to lay on while they are outside with me. When I'm out in the garden or filling up birdfeeders/birdbaths and I look for the dogs in the new bed, all I see is our cat! That means she now owns the new bed, the herb garden, the BBQ pit, the wicker furniture and the boat. Oh-and the roof of the shed! She is the queen around here for sure. The dogs are Poms and only weigh 5 1/2 pounds each, so she bullies them without mercy. I guess it's payback for all the 58 pound labrador years.(but I think she bossed the lab around too!) Gotta love a cat!

I love cats, but unfortunately I am allergic to them. My neighbors have a really cool cat that likes to hug you, while he's rubbing his face all over yours. He's so cute that I can't resist holding him, but then I get hives and I'm miserable! I wish I could have one.

Well I guess I'd live, but I'd be miserable without them........knocking over my lamps, flipping their food and water dishes, climbing my drapes, hanging from my dining room chandelier, running back and forth over me while I'm sleeping, rearranging my furniture, chewing everything and anything paper, stealing anything they can get their paws on or in their mouths and hiding it under the basement steps, walking on my keyboard, attacking my tv set, shreading every one of my plants......

Wow, Sandy must be considered an angel then. The only things she does is (try to) claw the
furniture, and rips stuff off my wall, or chews on things she knows she's not supposed to, when she wants food or whatever, and I'm not fast enough. She also likes to escape when I put her to bed at night. And today we found one of her fresh, smelly presents she killed. I've never seen a mouse that big ever!

EEEEW!!! Maybe it was a rat?!! At least I don't have to deal with that, mine don't go outside. They are brother and sister, just 3 years old, and definitely ROWDY!! Oh well, it's OK. Every night when I come home from work I inspect the day's destruction and assess a "we had a blast today" value from 1-10. Usually it's 7 or over

That's a great view on the situation @ hand Love the attitude. Nathan wants me to get a cat or guiney pig ? I'd rather a shepard or a lab but I spend too much time away so would not be fair, so it sure helps to hear stories on this Pet Topic. They should really have one just for pets everyone adores what they have and there are soo many. Best thing about them give them TLC and you have a friend for life, too bad our marrages didn't work like that.
