Please explain.

There seems to be a double standard in regards to the Avatars...considering mine was forcefully removed while JessicaRabbit gets to keep hers.

An animated gif of a rather well endowed woman sneezing...that's all

Meanwhile, JessicaRabbit has a cartoon of a woman sprawled on the hood of a car in a sexually seductive pose.

Double standard?

Well since I havent seen yours, I cant really say, but I will say that Jessica's is based off of a G-rated cartoon character and honestly you can barely see hers.

This is a family site and I have already removed quite a few "well endowed" women avatars and people flipping others off.

JR's is of a cartoon character...a 'G' rated one.....yours was not appropriate for a family oriented site.

You've made your point....I'm make mine and very shortly if you keep it up.

I feel that 05WindveilGT's avatar is acceptable. Sure it's gross, but it's not sexually offensive.

I didn't ask if it's 'acceptable'...I asked if you think it's 'family oriented'.

And it's a sad day that America is at the point where a playful picture of a sneezing, fully clothed, well endowed woman is considered sexually offensive.

Either way, thanks for responding. I have a better handle on this place now.

Case closed.

This site has a lot of young visitors. I don't think their parents would have as much of a problem with a small picture of a man throwing up as they would a small picture that cheapens women.

So you do admit the vomitting college boys are not 'family friendly'.

Re my avatar that you claim 'cheapens women'...I guess Marilyn Monroe's famous sidwalk floating skirt over the subway draft vents cheapens women too, huh?

Hey, it's your site...and a good one at that. You make up the rules...I'm not expecting fair or unfair treatment here.

MUST you argue everything?

Go rent the movie "Roger Rabbit"...Jessicas avatar is based off that "G" rated movie which was marketed to children...the character is fully clothed and not moving in a motion where a womans breats are heaving....and don't try to deny that you don't find some sort of "adult" gratification by watching that....THAT is the point being made.

Do you put pictures of well endowed women, Marilyn Monroe, etc in front of children? or pictures of women in a position where a well endowed sexually oriented body part is in motion....No...

Do kids, sneeze, throwup, etc...that is gross...yes...regardless it is not considered material of an adult nature.

Are those who made the decision over-protecting things....maybe but if you let one thing go then next we have a nearly nude avatar being used...give an inch, they take a mile. That is the general way things happen.

Now you want to bring Country status into this and insult America? I didn't remember seeing anybody say "Yeah, those canadians are a bunch of arguementative know it alls...what a sad day in Canada". So how about you get off your high horse and act like an adult rather than try to bring everything into a drama laden thread.

You stated you would "knock it off" 3 posts ago...yet you continue to drag it on...did you not understand your own statement.

Bottom line: If Brad chooses to keep the site G rated so that all ages can enjoy it without fear of a parent considering any of the material objectionable...so be it. If you want to view ****, sneezing women with bouncing breasts or whatever else...the interent is a very large resource that offers that sort of thing elsewhere and it doesn't need to be brought here.

I didn't see the avator in question.. but.. I have to say something.. as a cartoon nut...

Roger Rabbit IS rated PG.. NOT G. Never was, nor attended to be so.

Better watch it there. With rational, sound arguments and facts like you have provided above, you'll be accused of having a 'poor attitude'.

YOU are one of the few with a poor attitude.

Amy, I stand corrected, I thought RR was 'G' rated.

Yes, RR is PG rated.

However, there is no way that my cartoon is SEXUALLY explicit, and JR is HARDLY "sprawled" out. She is sitting, fully clothed, even the outline of her breasts are covered. You see a leg, and thats the extent of it. If simply SITTING is a sexually explicit position then we have some more issues!

Well... if you guys are gonna get rid of a few questionable avators.. than you might as well get rid of them all together.

Gotta have a fair playing field.

I used to mod a few boards... and people always argued and had/have different opinions on what is right and what is wrong. To be fair... I'd get rid of all questionable ones, just to play it safe.

Just be glad we don't have signatures here... I have a naked David Hasseloff pic with wrinkled puppies... AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!!

As the one who created the JR avatar, I can probably speak the best about the intent of the toon.
It's just a black 05 Mustang CAR-toon with a cartoon character.

Early drafts had "Ms Rabbit" standing behind the car or sitting inside , but I felt these views hid too
much of the character, making it hard to identify her.
(I even had "Roger Rabbit" in one draft.)

I got a ref pic from the movie of her sitting on a couch and used that to create the image of her sitting on the hood.
That's all there is to this image.
