There are many reason why i joined thsi board. The biggest one was that there was NO drama, complaining, bi***ing, or fighting unlike other forums. Now it seems that every psot turns into an argument no matter what the topic is. Granted there are questions that are asked a million times it seems, but we are all here because we have a passion for the same car. We should help each other out. This is a place for discussion. You might not agree with what others have to say, but each his own. NO ONE should be put down for their choices or opinions. Hope things here go back to how they used to be soon.

sorry if this was in the wrong place, but it was directed to those on the 05 part.

That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. How stupid do you have to be to post something like that. Take your negativity somewhere else. :notnice:

On the bright side, though, it appears the mods will lock a thread if too many differing opinions are voiced. So there's always that to be thankful for...

If you have a complaint about a specific thread or discussion, please PM me or any of the other admins or moderators and we will certainly look into it.

Roy, you've stated a VERY valid point, and I and the other moderators and admins have taken notice as well. The only thing I ask is that everyone respect other's opinions. Believe me, there are quite a few times I've bitten my tongue, when I felt the need to say something, but I felt it was better overall for the forums to keep my mouth shut. I guess what I am trying get at, is that its fine to have a dissenting opinion, but please be tactful about it, and go about it as if you were in a personal conversation with others at a mustang show. Keeping that perspective, keeps things civil.

IMHO....
And my opinions do not imply agreement or disagreement with anyone else...
I believe the crabbiness is due to nothing to look forward to anymore.
Remember last year? We were all hopped up on production, catching haulers, when are they arriving, what will they look like, pricing, availability.......
Then they came, now they are piled up on lots, and most of us have it in our hands now...
PLUS this site has grown tenfold and naturally there is going to be negativity with over 6,000 members.. Everyone can't be pleasant all the time. It smells, but what can you do?

You weren't talking about the guy that ended up not buying a Mustang, were you. It did get silly, and everyone seemed to miss the real point, which was that dealerships are costing Ford customers.

I wanted to to post to this effect (cos my dealer did the same to me, and has been awful every time I've gone in to report a fault), but the thread got closed down. Seemed little more than handbags at ten paces to me, but whatever.

I agree, though. The guy's original post was valid and if we're not to go the way of the Firebird, Ford need to take a look at what these dealerships are doing. It's a shame the thread got hijacked by the "What the f@#% did you say about my car?!?" crowd.

Honestly, i quit reading every post for this very reason. I got tired of the griping and ridicule for posting without a thorough search. Now I just skim the topics that look intersting.

April, we have the Cobra and SEs to look forward to.

This is definately the best forum out there when it comes to the Mustang. I have learned a lot, shared a lot, been praised and slapped. At times I have been abused more than that single guy trying out for the cheerleading squad....oh, wrong forum for that one

One thing I have learned is when someone gives you a bad response it is either they think they are better than you, which if they are they should at least respond with a decent answer and be helpful. Either that or they are just plain jealous. We are at that stage now where a lot of us are modifying our rides to look the way we want. Some people will not like what we are doing to our cars but I do think if they can't say something nice than don't bother saying anything.

I would rather hear "Personally, I like the looks of the car without stripes on it" than "Dude, are you on crack? Your car looks like someone attacked it with an UGLY stick".

It's definitely far better than Stangnet, hands down!
