I had a quick question about my number of posts. Below my avitar, it says I have 31 posts, but in my member profile, it says I have something like 36 posts. I noticed when I used the quick post, the number increased, but when I went to the advanced post, it didn't. (I also noticed the number increased after I posted this too.) I wasn't sure if there is a problem, or if it is supposed to do this.

I apologize if this has been covered before (I did a very quick search, but didn't find anything).

Some forums do not count towards your post count (like off-topic and annoucements for instance). This is more than likely the reason why the numbers dont entirely match up.

 

Is there a specific area where you are posting the ones that don't show? Some areas, such as off-topic, do not count towards the post count that appears below your avatar.

 

I guess Scothew and I were typing at the same time and he beat me to it.....lol

 

Well, a couple of my posts have been in the off-topic section, and when I add them up, I have 5 in off-topic which would be my difference. I guess that answers my question. I thought when I posted in the photoshop section, my count didn't increase, but apparently it did (just need to pay more attention).
