TMS Subscriptions

I received the following message today:

1 COBRA, you may have noticed an email stating that your subscription to TheMustangSource had been cancelled. This was our doing, as we transfer onto a new PayPal account. To ensure that you maintain the site features you're used to, please resubscribe here: Team Mustang Source

I am wondering why my membership will be cancelled considering I paid the TMS membership dues either on September or October this year.

If I'm a paid subscriber, do I get a "get out of banishment free card"?

I got that same messege too.

The funny thing is tho that I still have access to the private section of TMS. Also it still says that I am a Team Mustang Source member under my screen name

I think it has to do with the old owners having to cancel subscribed accounts etc through PayPal. Pretty sure it can be ignored but please let me know if anyone has issues

On the top left side of the main page of the Forum, click on 'User CP'. Then at the bottom is 'Miscellaneous'. You'll see and click on 'Paid Subscriptions'. Choose what you want. After you pay you'll get "Team Mustang Source" under you name

You also get larger and more picture space...once you pay...

Its instant right after you pay. On top of getting a bigger avatar you also get a HUGE PM box.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for any confusion. When you subscribed as a TeamMustangSource member, you were placed onto a recurring subscription that would automatically renew each year. With the change in ownership of the community, we have changed the paypal address subscription payments get sent to. In order to make sure that everyone didn't keep paying the former owners, they cancelled all of the recurring subscriptions from their account.

What this means it that when your current subscription runs out, you will need to re-subscribe, the same way you first signed up. Your subscription won't automatically renew itself due to the paypal account change.

I hope this helps add some clarity, and I apologize for creating any confusion!

cheers,
robb

Weird, it didnt apply anything here like it should have. I went ahead and manually did an override, but im going to forward to the ownership so they can look into it.
