People that follow members around & make posts that never seem to show a post count ? what is that exactly & why, all I see is their own what un sanctioned auto part sale link ?

 

Sounds like spammers... do you have a link to an example?

 

I just saw your reply & as I'm back tracking to look the whole post etc has disappeared ? like no evidence at all , now unless a mod did that how does that happen ? yup all disappeared there was one before all of my posts today saying spammers example Happy Birthday Chuck right after EvilCapri there should have been then my post Odd

I've been seeing it as well, but can't remember which thread(s)...

 

They disappear and say I was post 12 spammers 13 & Walt 14 when they vanish Walt is 13 and no trace ? How do they do that if it's not a HACK let's get I'm

 

Fancy Spammers. They compile information from the thread/title and post something that seems related to the topic. I removed the one in Blip's thread yesterday and we have the option to remove all the "person's" posts and ban at the same time. There have been a couple that seemed almost real, with the exception of a link in their signatures for other sites/random "stuff."

 

Yeah, hunt them down!

 

If you guys see those type of posts again, just "report" the post (using the hazard sign that is underneath the username and stats) and it will notify the Mods and Admins that the post needs to be taken care of!
