I've noticed a recent increase in spam. Is there anyway the mod's can set it to where first posts have to be approved?

 

I've noticed an increase in spam the past few weeks, is there anyway the mods can set it so that first posts have to be approved?

 

Therein lies the problem. On one hand we want the registration process to be easy, but on the other there is a need to combat spammers. We've tried a couple of different methods in the past which have eventually failed because the spammers know what doesn't work and change tactics. We're making changes, but they may only be temporary.

 

okay, I was just wondering, IMO yall do a fantastic job, but I guess those guys manage to stay just a step ahead, oh well, guess they gotta make money too
