Question SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW Connection?

I have DSL and this site really seems to be crawling lately in terms of how fast it opens and responses, etc. take to load. What's up guy's? I feel like I'm back on dial-up loading huge files.

Not just you. I've already been talking to svoPaul about the issue and he's working on it.

Ditto...But it's not consistent. It'll be slow for a few minutes, then act normal again...

CPU usage spikes for a moment (web requests) and the web service is shedding load (denying connections or deferring them) until it can catch up. We can't tell if it's legitimate traffic or an attack, but you're right there's no pattern and it doesn't last for very long. One things for sure, we're pegging a 100mb pipe when it happens.

this has been an on and off prob for TMS for a while - probably the MOST I have ever seen with a site I visit regularly

and just earlier I wasted 45 minutes putting a thread up in the Parts For Sale Section... to have the site lock me up and crash Firefox before I could post the thread (with pics)

I am really getting pi**ed off at this

I have been patient about this problem but it seems to be getting worse and more frequent. IMO

$@^&($@&^@&^!!!

trying to log in to deal with folks sending you money regarding your for sale thread is kind of frustrating when it takes 4 minutes for a page to load... with DSL........

Its gone from a slow annoyance, to a big PITA, sorry to say. I have had instances that I have waited for the page to load, onlly to have a "this page is currenlty unavailable" pop on the screen, as the connection timed out. Had to try again, and wait another 5 minutes to load. I'm sure you guys will find a fix for it. Let us know if you have any updates.

I had the page not found after clocking yesterday. I stopped trying to log on. Today at 4:30PM it is starting to hang up on me. Pages take forever loading.
I know you are working on this. Just adding to the post.
