Site slower than V6 Camaro

What's going on? Lately it takes an eternity to load pages on TMS. Did the servers get offshored when the site changed hands?

Paging through is really a pain, and I frequently get errors and need to re-load the page.

This is a big change from the previous model where the site was very quick, but occasionally had extended downtime. Now we have minimal downtime but the site is S-L-O-.......W

HELP

It's sluggish here for me at times. It usually gets hung up trying to load the ads, or the ads come up but the rest of the site doesn't.

OK I take my previous comment back--the site continues to be very slow to load pages, both at home and at work. This has been going on for the past week but my frustration has just now reached the level of complaint.

What gives?

And before the question is asked, it's not my internet.

Firefox 8.0 at work and 8.0 or 8.01 at home.

Now it seems to be going ok, of course...maybe it is traffic-related?

Well I know they actually upgraded the hardware not long ago, in order to handle all of the traffic. Ill keep an eye out and see if they can troubleshoot anything.

Thanks. Appreciated. This is the best S197 site on the internet, IMO. It kills me when I have to wait 30+ seconds for a page to load. My attention span cannot handle that, I typically close the window and move on to something else.
