Hi, I've noticed there are a lot of pics and topics based on coupes but haven't found much on convertibles unless I do a search of the forum.

Is there a section for convertibles or are they not modded much because as a friend of mine told me they flex too much and shouldn't be raced.

Yeah I know. I have one of each. The vert is not Moded. It's my weekend toy.

 

Convertible section for the win!! If LS1Tech has one (with only a limited number of 'verts ever produced) this site should too. Vert! Vert! Vert!

 

Yep, there are a few of us here... but given the limited "vert only" potential mods, not sure why a separate section is needed

Mine was bought as a weekend cruiser as well, but I have yet to worry about modding it as you can see my my sig list.

 

I'd love to see pics, sounds like an awesome Mustang.

 

How many of you mod your vert. I was thinking about doing something like project blackout from American muscle to my windviel blue mustang gt vert

True, there's not many *'Vert only* mods, but I had a few... The styling/light bar, the 1-touch top down module, Switch plates and eventually got a cloth top to replace the vinyl (after it got vandalized)...

I'd vote for maybe a picture thread dedicated to the verts, but even though I'm firmly in the vert camp (I've had 2), I think that having a dedicated section for them would be overkill.

 

A Mustang convertible section lets everyone talk about Convertible only issues without boring all the other posters on here. It doesn't just have to be about mods. Questions or comments about care, the mechanisms, any repairs or needs, production numbers, options, weekend 'topless' trips, and of course PHOTOS. It would be wide open for all 'vert owners.
If there are sections for colors, I'm sure a convertible section is a reasonable request as well.

I'm new here so maybe someone can contact a moderator and see if it can get done.

 

Verts should have their own place!

Which hood is that, installed on your 07? I'm looking at a similar one since my hood is deteriorating. Better to buy a new one than try to repaint mine.
