Search Broken?

There's no way the words "Sound", "Tube" and "Lava" have never been used here before. I keep getting that there are no matches.

Im going to send over to the IB guys. I want to say they changed some stuff recently and thats weird that nothing is being returned, when I know for sure it should.

I can't search my own posts, I need to be able to remember what I posted while I was drinking, this is very important!

I've done this instead, works awesome.

Go to Google, and then use this format:

site:forums.themustangsource.com "whatever text you wanna search for"

For example, seaching for...

Sound Tube: http://tinyurl.com/7dslyxu
Lava: http://tinyurl.com/7tuul4b

I used tinyurl to shorten them so they'd post, but the format was used to produce the results as needed.

There. No need to mess with the search function, just send them to google! Make the search format do that, and we'd be golden. You can probably modify it to search in certain areas by changing the site: bit.

Yes. That's why I laugh at vBulletin. I find stuff quicker going off the forum to google. Its the same with all vb forums.

Why doesn't vb adopt google search? Many other sites do.

I was wondering why I was unable to complete a search for the thread on the twin turbo 5.0. No more than two weeks ago the search worked quite well.
