How come on some images I post from certain websites the picture will post for a while and then are unavailable to view?

On one post the error message '403:Unauthorised Inline Image Link' can up.

Just wondering.

 

Sounds like one of two things:

Either an invalid file name or file type for the forums.

The site where the image is stored doesn't allow remote loading.

 

Yeah, it really sounds like number 2. many sites don't allow direct linking to images, because of bandwidth concerns (especially when its linked from highly trafficed sites). To curb it, they just don't allow linking at all.

In those cases, you'll have to save the image off and attach to the post, or save and upload to your own site or space somewhere.

I would speculate it is the second reason as well. I will just have to keep that in mind for future posts.
