I have a question. When I post pics the come out as Thumbnails that can be clicked to enlarge, but, I notice that others when posting pics the are full size, inline with their post. Am I missing something???
Thanks, Dale

You just need to have your pictures hosted somewhere that allows direct linking. In my case, I use my own server to do it.

I have a question regarding posts with pictures. Every time I try to upload a picture it says I don't have permission to and kicks me back to the log on screen. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
scott396

Your link has to end with a .jpg or equivilant file name. The extra stuff afterwards makes the link considered to be dynamic and is not allowed on it.

If you put the IMG tags around this link http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...9/DSCN0680.jpg it will look like this:

go here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/profil...do=editoptions

And go down to Default Thread Subscription Mode

Then change it to whatever e-mail notification setting you want

Willie, I am going to take a stab at this one for ya...

Pics and images in signatures are a lot harder to control than typed information. I think most importantly, images and pics take much longer to load that standard text does. Not everyone gets to have a super fast connection, and images and pics in signatures can cause locking up of systems. Finally, text is much easier on the eyes when reading through threads than pictures and images in signatures.

You will find, I am the more verbose of the mods... Its ok, you will get used to it!

i can live with that.. i change avatars and sigs to fit just about every post i make anyway.. and some folks do use those annoying animation sigs that do take forever to manuver around ( ps) what does verbose mean?

I didnt want to get into the animation aspect of the signatures, because technically you could just ban animations and keep images.

Main Entry: ver·bose
Pronunciation: (")v&r-'bOs
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin verbosus, from verbum
1 : containing more words than necessary : WORDY <a verbose reply>; also : impaired by wordiness <a verbose style>
2 : given to wordiness <a verbose orator>
synonym see WORDY
- ver·bose·ly adverb
- ver·bose·ness noun
- ver·bos·i·ty /-'bä-s&-tE/ noun

I normally have quite a bit to say, usually because I tend to be a straight shooter, and if I dont qualify my comments, most think I am being rude and snotty. Its a curse...
