Could our artists please post your t-shirt designs featuring a production 2005 Mustang? I'll open a CafePress.com account and you'll get a cut of sales, but we'll discuss all that once the members choose a favorite design.

I don't think so, but that's a good question and I'll get a definite answer for you.

There is no limit to the number of colors that can be used. The design needs to be at least 200 dpi, but 300 is preferred. They recommend PNG or PSD files, but if you send me a PSD I can make any changes I need.

Here's a link for more info: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/images.aspx

The submitted images need to be life-size. I can make them smaller with their software but I can't make 'em bigger.

The entire logo may need to be redone anyway. I don't have high resolution images for the horse head and tail.

when you say "life-size" about what size are you looking for?

Probably 12" wide at 300 dpi for an image on the back of a shirt.

For Cafepress -- the large image size for a t-shirt design is 1000 x 800 (including any "white" space surrounding the design--I shrink the background border to the edge of the image), which prints out as 10" x 8" or 8"x 10" image depending on how you arrange the design.

I usually load my designs at almost twice that size (I've got cable-link so up load time is not a problem), and let their software reduce the image to the maximum size that they can print.

Here's a possible design idea--still needs some more work, but you can see the basic idea. May change the car coloring, too

Was wondering, if there are problems with Mustang/Ford renderings, i.e., copyright infringments, why not have a shirt with 'TheMustangSource.com' logo, and skip any picture.

Just thinking in type.
