I think having post ranks would create a little more "fun" to posting. Having everyone be just a member or a moderator isn't very exciting.

I was thinking you could either go with car terms or Mustang terms. Maybe do it like:

Posts 1-100 Classic Mustang
Posts 101-250 Mustang II
Posts 251-500 Fox Body
Posts 501-1000 SN95
Posts 1001+ S197

Or you can try anything else. Just seeing "member" over and over is pretty boring IMO.

Another Invision board where I post gives you the ability to change your member title after 100 posts to whatever you want.

That encourages people to post meaningless topics and replies just to change their title. Also, I like to make sure stuff on this site stays clean. I trust 99% of the people here, but I am still responsible for whatever gets read here. As long as I'm paying for this site, it will be the cleanest Mustang site on the web.

I am open to suggestions for what the member levels should be.

I can make your title stay Mach 1 Member, but in some form or fashion, there will be a twist

I've decided I'll graduate normally.

However, I am going to create a thread and reply to myself 33 times so I can reach 1000 posts ...

We can always manually change your post count to whatever we want.

or we can go through, delete any spam post he makes, then also doc him 3 post for each one he made.... I think that would leave him

As an alternative, you could allow for Admins to be PMed to change members' titles. That would assure that no questionable names would go up.

We're being ranked now? Horrah. Posting has officially become a competition.
