So what are the advantages of this skin? Or does it have the same abilities as the last?

It's looking awesome, but it's gonna take a while to get used to.

WOW!! I leave the site for 10 min and its completely changed! I'm not sure I like it yet because of all the forums I've been to this one has been the easiest to read and navigate, but that's just my opinion. And what happened to the little ponies in the membership rankings? Anyways its still a great site!

Im not use to it yet but the type seems a little small to me. Might just be since Ive been messing with a 1/8th scale chassis for the past hour.

 

Yeah after looking around for a few minutes it's not that bad. Maybe I'm just not used to change.

 

I'll be honest, I don't like it. Everything is smaller and harder to read. I have20% of my screen on the sides going unused, and the "buttons" like SEARCH are harder to find. Yes it looks more modern, but it's still harder to read unless you change your settings.

I do have one suggestion though, and maybe its already being worked on, but where you select to go in a forum, say like Mustangs By Model Year it was nice having the subforum for 2005+ right there to save a couple extra steps. Just my .02 cents.

 

That's exactly what I liked about the old skin the font was big and it filled up my entire screen. But I'll get used to it.

The navigation is just as easy but the print is too small and there seems to be a lot of wasted space around the edges. .02

I was over at alternative Autos web site reading about their 05 auto supercharged mustang, came back and refreshed the page and like magic all the mod were completed on TMS just like I want to happen on my Stang

 

I changed it back to the old skin, its easier to read.

 

The new skin is ok to me. However, I do find my purple hard to see :P

 

I like the new skin, excepted for the extra step to reach "2005+" forum. Anyway it's all configurable so it's all good.

One bug though, while being on the new skin, several times it just unexpectedly changed back to the old one when changing forum or clicking on ""View new posts".

 

maybe it's just my computer, but some of the smiley's aren't working and i can't use the "quote" button, it leads me to a Cannot Find Server page for some reason...I like the skin though, just hope all the bugs get worked out

 

darn, when did we get a new skin??!?! lol, just found it now, its alright. i like the old one tho... its brighter :P
