This needs to be repeated. I think a new color and button graphic scheme based on the old layout could accomplish the goal of giving it a fresh look while still keeping the interface clean, simple, and readable.

 

not only are the fonts small, it is just too busy, there doesn't seem to be any seperation between things on each of the pages, I vote GO BACK! There was nothing wrong w/ the previous look!

Any chance of installing a bunch of them and let the community vote on the top three and make those available?

The new skin doesn't seem to have a very clean look to it. Everything is just kind of floating out there. I find it much harder to read the site and have things flow well. I say import some new skins and then have a vote every few months.

 

I like the new one, font size doesn't bother me.

I prefer the old one. Much more easier to read. The gray background and small font contribute to a more difficult read. Although I do like the member design on the new skin.

I'm not crazy about the new one. The font is too small and the miniprofiles need to be more organic. The boxes in them around the text doesn't look right. On the old version the fields are open with text and no boxes, looks better. I'm not against refreshing the board, though.

 

Please save our eyes with a larger font skin

 

There are things I like about both skins but, if the new one had a bigger font as suggested already I think it would be fine.

 

Looked at them both and I agree the font shoud be bigger on the new one ....its very hard on the eyes but I like the set up better on the new one ..the online /offline button is cool this way you don't have to go to the front of the forums to see who is in .
You know Brad is it possible to have the updated version say with larger font and still keep the old one for those that don't want to change sort of like you have now?

 

Thank you for the option, but I like the old one a lot more. This new one is hard to navigate and read. I like simplicity, that's why I bought a Mustang.

 

Allow me to ask you this. Was anyone here on the forum complaining about the look or the forum being outdated? I think not. You want a fresh look but is the fresh look of any importance to us? We just want to be able to read and communicate. The font size is a killer and the background needs to be lighter. As I said please leave it as it was. Don't fix what ain't broke. Thanks

 

Besides the font size, I don't care for the gray as a cloudy day background of the new screen, the layout's not bad though. I voted for the old one.

 

With all due respect Brad, This new skin is terrible. Fonts too small, too busy looking not as neat or efficient as the original. Don't screw with what you have.
