I don't know why you guys are so behind the site. I for one don't even like it. I sick and tired of haveing to wade through the numerous pop up ads that are constantly cluttering up my screen. People are constantly arguing with each other and the mods are all jerks. Plus its not like it really provides any real information. Thats why i only visit 7 or 8 times a day.....tops. And when I do deside to look around I'm only on for an hour or two. You all need to get a life.

There is always, always someone that takes the bait.

I for one don't feel pressured to purchase anything. In fact, I was more than happy to donate to the website and buy a couple of TMS shirts. I would have even bought a die cast if I hadn't already done so!

Nobody is twisting anyone's arm to spend money. Whoever cast these disparaging remarks should shut it or donate to the cause. Deadbeats. :notnice:

I think the site is AWESOME and I look forward to logging on every day. I've learned a lot since joining the forums (including what can and cannot be said) and I wish nothing but happiness and prosperity for both Brad and Bridget. Why shouldn't they enjoy a little financial reward in the process of providing a public service? I think they should both receive a stipend from whatever remains after paying for the upkeep of the server. It's only fair. The site is GREAT and I tell everyone I know that has interest in Mustangs to log on and join the discussions. I could never produce a site of this quality, but I'm sure glad the Barnetts can!

I remember stumbling onto this site when it was still very small. The site was great then and is even better now. Great job Brad, Bridget, and Scott.....this site rocks.

7-8 visits a day 1-2 hours on this site, you dont like it, you have 694 posts....but people here need to get a life? In addition, you hate how everyone argues here but yet you post such a rude and worthless post. I believe you need to rethink what you just said.

I have no other comments because you are not making much sense.

Ummmm, I think that was intended to be a joke, at least I hope so! Thanks to the Great site Brad & Bridget! :worship: I had a feeling that you weren’t making a second salary from this site off selling T-Shirts. Although selling T shirts on a web site that people voluntary access, voluntary go into the store, then voluntary scroll down to find the item could be seen as forcing your products on them. It sounds like a strong argument. Thanks again!

The way I see things, I don't think its a bad thing even if you make money from this web site (I believe when you say you don't). But even if you do, what's so bad about that? You spent your time and effort.

Keep up the great work guys.

Who could complain about TMS? It's by far the best Mustang site on line. Users are so much more polite and mature than you encounter on other, bigger sites--and you know which one I'm talking about. What you do here is obviously a labor of love, and I really apprecaite the time and effort you devote to it. The result is a quality site, informative and inspirational and for that you have my undying gratitude.

Thank you.

And didn't we as a consumer group tell you what we wanted to see in the shop? My word, why shouldn't you guys cover costs, let alone make a profit? Last time I checked, nobody was holding a gun to my head to force me to make a purchase. I wonder how many fast food places this disgruntled person has frequented in the last week. And I'll leave it at that.

I found this site over two years ago and without it I wouldn't have been able to get good info on half the stuff I did to the 97GT I had. I appreciate this site so I don't know what that person was talking about. To each their own. I'll proudly wear my t-shirt this weekend at Fun Ford Weekend here in Virginia. Keep up the great work!!

Believe it or not Scott actually had useful information. Scary.

While I'm on my soapbox! Let's not forget that some major players at Ford like this site and check it out also.

Brad,

I think you are overreacting with one person's opinion.

I believe the heavy majority of Mustang enthusiasts love this site and no one feels pressured to buy and mechandise. I would ignore this one negative statement.

I am sure all of our members will offer suggestions to improve the site in this section.

At least he didn't say anything about your amazing moderators

Ok, I remember when Brad said he was going to start the site. I was conversing with the Bama Mafia at StangNet. While I did love that site for my needs until my 2002 left me, this site provides FAR more information on the new style. So, I quit lurking here and joined up. Maybe I'll at least not **** anyone off here

George, your pants are on fire.

This is a outrage! The ultimate insult. I gave my scott word of honor.

And furthermore, this joint STINKS, YOU HEAR ME! I will resign my commission!

I believe my PMs to Brad and Bridget have conveyed how much I love this site - but I'll say it again.

Best run Mustang site

The Mods and the organization (rules) in place are great - it keeps things on track and not straying off into the weirds areas some other car forums wander into

Up to the minute info thanks to Brad and generous Source members

GREAT site members - I have met some really cool people through this site (yeah Kev V6 - you are your sons/copilots are covered by this )

Excellent Stang info of all kinds - I got almost all my info about my car before my purchase through this site and the members and it was invaluable

We have all been hounding for months (and many people longer than that) for shirts and other merch - now it is happening - I guarantee almost all the folks here do not feel it is being 'pushed upon them' (as is obvious from the previous posts)

Other websites I used to check online have disapeared from my radar - this first thing I check every single day after email is The Source. I am on there veryday during my lunch hour at work without fail.

This is really the first website after all these years of playing on the internet I consider 'Home'.

And I think that about covers it.......

Brad - Bridget - you guys rule.

This site is the premier NO BULLCRAP mustang site on the entire net, in my opinion. This site has grown by immeasurable leaps and bounds. Brad, you and bridget are a blessing to the mustang enthusiast community.....even if you are BAMA fans. :bang:

....**** on the haters, We gotcha back.

We recently received a comment from someone who feels like we are pushing our products (shirts, hats, etc.) on people and "s ucking up people's money". I certainly hope this was just one single person's opinion. We dont even really make a profit off any of these items! And the $1 or 2 that we do make goes into a fund that we use to pay for the large server that we have to pay for to keep the site going and for trips that Brad makes to bring you all the latest information. This site was not created for the purposes of money making and it will never become that. This site is in existance because of Brad's love of the Mustang and love of the Mustang Community. This is his hobby and we do everything we possibly can keep everyone happy and bring them what they asked for. Please if any of you ever have any problems with the site please get in contact with me at bridget@themustangsource.com.

We appreciate all of your support and interest.
Speaking of "s ucking up peoples money!" I am totaly ashamed of myself for hanging around such a great site & not joining! I just took care of it -money well spent in my opinion!

Keep up the good work, I for one appreciate it.

The only constructive criticism I could offer is that I am to stupid to figure out how to delete double posts!

I thought there was enough sarcasim in the post that justified me not using a " " . I was apparently wrong.
I sure caught it, guess not everyone is not as astute in the art of satire

This site is awesome! I've learned so much about the 05 Mustang, the ordering process, etc. from the community of great people that frequent this site, many checking in everyday, several times a day like myself. THANKS for all you do, your work is much appreciated in maintaining this site. And thanks for offering merchandise, it's nice to have the option to purchase it!

Only thing I notice that isnt really good is that when new products come up a new topic is made about then in nearly every subtopic/section. Shouldnt there just be a place were these can posted. Its kinda like spam to be honest. Other than that everything seems to be okay.
