We recently received a comment from someone who feels like we are pushing our products (shirts, hats, etc.) on people and "s ucking up people's money". I certainly hope this was just one single person's opinion. We dont even really make a profit off any of these items! And the $1 or 2 that we do make goes into a fund that we use to pay for the large server that we have to pay for to keep the site going and for trips that Brad makes to bring you all the latest information. This site was not created for the purposes of money making and it will never become that. This site is in existance because of Brad's love of the Mustang and love of the Mustang Community. This is his hobby and we do everything we possibly can keep everyone happy and bring them what they asked for. Please if any of you ever have any problems with the site please get in contact with me at bridget@themustangsource.com.

We appreciate all of your support and interest.

I don't feel like you're pushing products on us. I for one was more than happy to contribute money to the site since what I get in return is far more valuable than the small amount of money you ask to be a TMS member. As far as I'm concerned, you and Brad are doing an excellent job with this site. Don't let a few malcontents ruin it.

I, for one, don't feel like anything is being pushed on me when I visit this site. Nobody held a gun to my head to make me order the T-shirts I ordered. My computer messed up during my first order, when I placed the order the second time I made some changes. Turns out that the first had gone through. Bridget called to verify which order I was wanting to be filled. She did not have to do that, she could have just filled both orders and made extra on me. I have'nt recieved my shirts yet, but so far I am very pleased with the customer service.

But, SO WHAT if TMS were pushing its products. They provide a great service with this site and it does'nt cost a dime to use the site, unless you choose to join the team. Thanks to everyone at TMS for all you guys do.

The people complaining about the mark up on t-shirts probably paid a 3K "market adjustment" on there cars.

If you are pleased with the site, please take a moment to post a review at Alexa.com. If you have a complaint or suggestion, please email me and let me know.

The person that left the bad feedback about pushing our products also wrote that the site is "barely ever updated" even though four of the eight headlines on the home page were added in the last week, one was added earlier this month, and two others have been updated in the last 10 days. The other headline was added May 30, so all eight headlines have been added or updated in the last 23 days. In response to his confusion about the web site updates, I'll be adding a "last updated" date to each headline so you can more easily locate the latest news.

You will always have detractors, and you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Stick to your guns, ignore your detractors. If there is something so horribly wrong with the way you're running things, you'd know down deep inside what they are anyway.

Ditto. If they don;t like it they can go to another site that has pop up ads every minute or so.

I am most certainly pleased with this site , the knowledge and friendships that I have attained is very possitive, as for products as with any buisness people can purchase here or there, that is ones right and the amount that it must COST you to maintain a site cannot be cheap, which is one reason that I was totally comfortable in subscribing to TMS and making a voluntay donation for the sites maintenance. It shouldn't make any difference to anyone whether you make a dollar on an item or twenty or more. There is an invaluable service provided by this board which most are getting for free, while many others wind up saving money due to information and advice posted.

The main concern should be what is important to keep this site going. Pretending ignorance when it comes to imagining what a site like this requires financially is very easy, and a cop out.

Please PM me the wimp's name. I promise I'll be gentle.

No I don't feel like anythung is being pushed on me. The way I see it, you're providing a service by offering the products.

As for site updates, you have nothing to worry about Brad. Have you seen some of the other sites lately? Most of the others will go for months with no headline updates.

You guys have nothing to worry about, you have the best site on the net for the '05 Mustang.

I believe you will find overwhelming support for the way you are doing things, including support from me.

Some folks are just unhappy. This may not be the right site for other folks; plenty of other places they can visit.

You just keep on keeping on. Your work and effort is deeply appreciated!

Exactly. It's realistically impossible to have 100% customer satisfaction. Some people even complain about the new Mustang!

You do a great job with this site, from the frequent updates to providing a generally amicable environment to hang around. Nice work and THANKS!

I am very pleased with this site. Perhaps the person that made the comment was a spouse to someone who enjoys this site. I know my wife hates it because everytime I go to the site she hears me say "Man, I gotta get me one of those".

I have become addicted to the site. Every time I sit at my computer I rush to check the recent postings. I think the products being sold are being advertised in a low key manner and I have never felt pressured to buy a thing. I also have no problem with Brad profiting from the tremendous amount of work he puts into the site while as we benefit from his efforts.

There is absolutely NO COMPARISON to any of the other Mustang sites. Brad gets us the latest information and provides a terrific forum for us to exchange ideas and opinions. I belong to several other sites, I can't count the number of times they use information first reported here. So quite simply if you don't appreciate Brad's hard work feel free to quit and be the last to know whats happening with the Ford Mustang.

Brad I hope you sell a million hats and shirts.

Neil

Great site, PERIOD!

As I recall, Bridget often ask us, the members, what we'd like to see for sale in "the store". It's unfortunate someone thinks these products are being pushed on them when in reality all Bridget and Brad are doing is letting us know that the items we asked for are in! TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOTHING LESS!

Keep up the good work. I always look forward to visiting this site and seeing what's new each and every day.
