Thumbs up

This is going to sound like a stupid question. I know how to find old threads and how to cut and paste URLs to old threads as hyperlinks in new posts.

My question is how do I paste a URL that directly links to a particular post, not just to the thread?

7 years of college and I can't figure this out!!! Very frustrating.

if you read someone's post, look in the top right hand corner. it will say Post #x. Click on the #x (with whatever number it has). It will open a small window and you can just copy the link in taht window. Then close the window and post that link anywhere you like. When you click it, it will take you straight to that post within whatever thread it is in

oh scott may seem innocent enough now, but just you wait :P

pretty soon you'll have a desire for one of them new fangled C/T's and then BAM, you're just another target to him again... horrible i know, but such is life for the Administration. they get all cushy with ya by giving you little tips when ur new... but before ya know it you're the butt of a cruel (albeit funny) joke.

yes, i AM speaking from experience

jk scott. you aint so bad after all... (just name ur kid after me already, i promise to shut up!)

this post is a product of sleep deprivation from AP classes. the poster in truth has no idea WTH is going on right now. he's just sleepy and bored and has internet access... not a good combination for the rest of you.

lol and futuresvt, you picked a great first 6 letters to your username, though i am a bit partial myself. lol i was skimming the offtopic chatter page and saw "future" and looked at the title and was like "did i post this? i dont remember..."

and then i clicked and gotinto this long drawn out longwinded post about pretty much nothing thats usefull at all. pretty soon you'll realize that ALL my postsare like that.... wait... why am i still talking?

ahh, such is life as Arin. i feel better now
