Constantly getting logged off

If I leave the site open on my computer for a while and come back and refresh the page I get logged off. This has only started happening in the last few days and happens every time now. Anyone know what's up with that?

I found I was logged off the website myself one day. I didn't clear my cache, so I was all like o.0

I logged back in, and it appears to be ok for me.

This may be a malware issue, as a dart throw guess... you might possibly want to go get Malwarebytes Antimalware and scan the computer just in case.

/lovely stuff.
//no guarantees.

You are checking the box (_Remember me?) when you log on correct?

Seems to me if it was a malware problem it would happen on other sites too but the problem is only here.

I *said* 'dart throw'. I mean, c'mon!

---

Yeah, well, I would have said the same thing until I found mine for my bank. It was very sophisticated. I still suggest it, you may be surprised if you've not at what's lurkin' in the machine. I'm not saying it's the cause... but it wouldn't surprise if it did fix it.

Other than that, the cookies are maybe being eaten? Or maybe compatibility mode for IE (if you're using that)?

Then after that, well, use drill press on the old one and get another computer. It's the only way to be sure.

/I don't actually suggest the latter.
//I use a slegehammer, as I don't have a drill press.

We recently upgraded the vbulletin software, which could have caused member to re-login. However, if it happens again soon, then that would not be the problem.

It happens to me every time I refresh the page after leaving it idle for more than a few minutes.

Does the new upgrade have a time-out on it???

No timeout feature on the site. are you accepting cookies on your browser?

Jon, everything was working just fine and then it stopped and I started getting logged off. No changes were made on my end.

I changed back to using Internet Explorer and I have no problems, it's only on firefox.

Dumped firefox, it SUCKS!

Downloaded Google Chrome and so far it is WAY BETTER than IE and blows firefox away.

I am able to stay logged on here and all the other forums I visit.

And video performance is TONS better.

I like to watch the videos on Jay Leno's Garage and on IE when I would watch them full screen they would be herky-jerky but on Chrome the performance is LOTS better.

We'll see how it does the next few days...

Why does then happen so frequently since ya'll change server companies??? And don't blame it on Hughes Satnet - All my other sites and numerous tabs open while TMS gives me:
