Have you guys thought about adding a chat to the forum?

There are some that will integrate seamlessly with vB or you could just install one seperately.

 

yeah that would be cool. Maybe a irc or something.

 

Ehh, the "hack" for vB chat is not all that great. I've installed it and helped support it on another forum, but it never really worked out. It tends to detract from posting on the forums since everybody does their "communication" via the chat channel. Since chat is not archivable or searchable you lose a lot of good information. But, if that's what the members what you'll need to contact Scott or Brad and convince them of the need.

If we do one, it will be something besides vB.

 

I just meant for something live/instant/streaming.

There a ton of options for chats though, and you could go with a java chat.
