I treated myself to a 2010 silver mustang for my 60th birthday. Yes im old.
It is only the 4.0, this is actually what I wanted. It does what I need and I love having the space to work around in the engine bay. I drive conservatively. Probably because I have driven a semi for 36 years. Ya, I am that irritating semi you get stuck behind.
But the car had to be a convertible. My mother had a mustang convertible when I was only 5 and I remember that car.
She had always mentioned how she regretted selling it. I made a note that someday I would get one in her memory. Well that day finally arrived.
I kinda miss the days of forums. Now we have Reddit and all that stuff, but I find that not to be quite the same as a forum of like minded individuals sharing the same interests and knowledge.Problem is, forums seem to be a dying breed.
Anyway sorry about all the jaw jacking. Here is a pic of the car. Overall in good shape but needs some TLC. I found this forum by searching for differential fluid capacity.

Cool story and welcome! Nice ride and I certainly agree with your 'vert choice.. I wouldn't mind being 60 again so don't even think that way. I'm 10 years older than you and my mind still acts like a 16 year old when it comes to driving machines. My stable below.
Welcome to TMS! We are very glad to have you here. I too have you by a handful of years so you are just a young kid. You are only old if you think you are. 😁 Welcome to the Mustang family, we all have to have a little fun in our lives. Very nice looking 2010 vert. Looks to be in great shape.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your 2010 silver Mustang convertible... As for claiming to be old, just as the others have posted, the majority of us here on TMS are 60+ years old...
Although, I'm physically 67 yrs old, my personality hasn't changed since being in my mid 20's...
Therefore, I'm a very firm believer in that age is only but a number and nothing more...

^^^ So true as far as the mind works. It's the physical part of getting old that is ruining things for me. Fully detailing the car leaves me on the couch for days resting my aching EVERYTHING!!!

Same here, Dave which is the main reason I don't take my car out if knowing it's going to get my car dirty due from rainy weather... It just takes way too long to recuperate after fully detailing the car anymore
