My wait is finally over ! (I placed my order on Dec 28th 2004! )
Thank you fellow TMS members for the support and tons of information! The sales people thought I was very well informed. I told them I had some helpers and a lot of time on my hands![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
oh and for a teaser.... I am adding stripes. In early June (6/6) I should have something unique. I haven't seen anything like it yet.
Without further delay, and to avoid the dreaded 'TTIWWP' post).
Pic at the Marina - I should do this for a living !
It likes the sand !
Blue Harbor Resort - Sheboygan WI
Added more pics...
Shrink wraped steering wheel
Lighthouse - Lake Michigan (Sheboygan WI)
(You can look at all my pics once you use one of these links. Upper left hand corner of new windows that appears)

Congrats!!
I love seeing the plastic still on the seats in pics - I drove my car around for almost two weeks after I picked it up with the backseats still wrapped in their plastic.....

Oh yes - I LOVE THIS CAR!
I took the back roads home from Sheboygan (90 mile trip) - what a great trip! I love how it pulls even when your going 60MPH !
During the first 40 miles I was averaging 10.3 miles per gallon... I think my rings are seated now !
What a great machine!
To all those still waiting for theirs... it's worth it! All the wait stress disappears like a bad dream when you see your car!
Now on with the mods.... Sequential tail light kit arrived yesterday, will paint the calipers this weekend, window tint needs to be scheduled and then it's off for painted stripes after that... I'm got to learn to plug my checkbook !
Gotta go drive some more :drive:

Good luck with her and keep us all posted with your modifications, impressions, etc. You waited a really long time and I'm glad you finally got to enjoy your new car. Drive carefully...

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I just love this car - and the feeling just doesn't wear off. No buyers remorse here!
PS: I'm working on front license plate brackets. If I get them to work I'll share dimensions etc. So far I've just bent up some thin aluminum flat bar, eventually I'll get some heavier bar once I have the pattern I want. The idea (originally from a TMS member) is to hold the plate out just in front of the bumper. Anyway still working on it - maybe with the long weekend coming up I can make some progress. I'll start a new topic when I have something worth sharing.
After the weekend - it's off for stripes. It's gona be one of a kind...
