Stock 14 Coyote

Hey just joining cause I've been checking out the forums pretty often and might as well jump in! Driving a 2014 GT manual with GT500 axle backs and a set of 275/40-17 ET Streets. Hit the drag strip today and couldn't get into the 12's...which is frustrating because I know the car can do it! Any launch tips on the solid rear? I ran 13.08 and 13.07 tonight. Oh and I had a .0008 RT one run but it ended up being a 13.4 or something lmao.

Welcome aboard.
What was the elevation, and were you heating these things up?
What RPM were you launching at?

I got them smoking every time...tried to launch around 2k a couple times, then launched a little harder around 3k and got the wheel hop. Elevation is 442ft. I know there's control arms ans stuff for the wheel hop. I'm just on a tight budget and wanna go fast!

Just confirming, you disabled all the traction nannys right? Foot on the brake and holding the TC button for 5+ seconds. If you're not spinning you can launch at higher RPM. Did you air the tires down to like 18 psi? Should help with wheel hop, but yeah LCAs are definitely needed, and they're cheap
