[attachmentid=12947] My beautiful redfire GT arrived yesterday, 12 days ahead of the ETA the dealer had given me! Car is absolutely beautiful (bullitt wheels, spoiler delete)! I'm glad I drove it a lot yesterday, because it has been snowing since before sun-up today and is still flurrying (11 p.m. EST) here in Southern Maryland. I can't say enough positive things about the folks at Prince Frederick Ford in Prince Frederick, Maryland, and especially my salesperson, Allison Markward. They never tried to sell me something I didn't want, there was no BS, and they kept me well informed. I'm one happy camper! I must have won the lottery because I ordered the car on December 30 and got it on February 23! I know this isn't fair to those of you who have been waiting so long, but if it helps at all, your wait will be worth it!

I should've gone with either that dealership or Waldorf Ford (they're all owned by the same people)... I ordered through Hunt Ford in La Plata and still don't have a built date nor will they give me any kind of idea as to when to expect one....ordered on November 15th..

 

Thanks for the kind words and congrats, everybody! Since it's too snowy (and salty!) to drive, I sat in her in the garage for an hour last night and stared at the engine I don't understand at all (not a bit like the engine in my old '67!) for about the same length of time.
