Second Mustang, but first REAL one...
Hello from Central CA!
Back in the mid 80's (yes I'm dating myself - I am THAT old) I had a 1978 Mustang II literally thrust upon me due to an unfortunate family situation. It turned me off of Ford products for the better part of 3 decades - I have been told that I have trouble letting things go...
Fast forward to earlier this year. I was driving by the local Ford Dealership, and they just happened to have a freshly arrived 2013 Mustang GT. Been there about 24 hours.
Black on Black
California Special Package
6 Speed Manual Transmission
Comfort Package
I was done the minute I saw it, but managed to hold off from the purchase for about 45 minutes
Traded in my 2011 Camaro V6 on the spot and haven't looked back once.
GREAT CAR! GREAT LOOKS! Much better ergonomics then the Camaro. I DO miss the HUD though...
Now I'm hoping to pick everyone's brains for the first round of mods. I usually start out with cosmetic mods, and hold off on the performance ones until I burn a little factory warranty.

Pretty close Ticket, I have changed one or two things already:
Tint all around
Side window louvers
removed hood stripes (sides to be removed soon)
Pony removed from grille to black it out for future mods
Thanks for the great welcome guys!

I removed mine the day after I bought it. I let it sit on the sun and it peeled right off.
I bought my GT/CS for the interior and the front and rear facia. I knew before i signed the papers, the the stripes and side scoops were coming off. It is a much cleaner look.

I have future plans for a paint scheme and mods for the vehicle that the basic factory stripe configuration just gets in the way of. The car will eventually have painted stripes in a different config and more importantly COLOR than I can get from the factory.
I HAD to have the CS package though for the facias and seating though
