I was one of the lucky ones and after much convincing (ok...begging) I was able to purchase one of the first 05's with everything on October 24th off the lot at MSRP. I feel for all of you waiting so long but this car is worth it.

I never posted pics yet, because i wanted to at least get some rims and other things before I showed her off. Not much yet but much more to come.

First off I had 18" Boyd Coddington, Smoothie II rims with 235/55/18 tires put on. These fill up the fender wells a little better and then I had the headrest embroidered with the concept pony and also one put on sim. carbon fiber on the trunk badge. Then I had the concept GT logo placed on the quarter panel. This touch of red and chrome really set off the car. Tomorrow I am having the windows tinted and then custom pinstripes painted on next week. More pics to follow[attachmentid=14465][attachmentid=14466][attachmentid=14467][attachmentid=14468]

How did you cover the holes for your fender emblems, just the decal?

very nice

nice subtle touches, without being overdone - very classy.

Love the wheels as well - were the offset and backspacing correct as-is, or were they done custom for you?

So fa just the decal. The holes are not that big and the vinyl is stronger than you think. If I have any problems I will have the holes filled and then reapply the decals.

This was basically a test just to see what it would look like. Much better than the stock emblem tough.

The only thing I had to do was go to 18's vs the stock 17's to ensure proper clearance. But I believe 18's are perfect for this but I certainly didn't want a low profile look so the larger tires worked like a charm

The gut who did the trunk badge and the GT Logo for me is Don Q. His web site is www.donqstudio.com. Everything is already set up on the computer so I have already paid for the set up on that. Yeah I took one for the team, so everyone else wont have to worry about set up fees. He is the one who is going to be pinstriping my car and we are now working on a concept pony badge to replace the one in the steering wheel. This will be completed early next week. I'll send pics ASAP

If any one is interested make sure you tell him chuck sent you. He'll be working on my car for a while to come.

Wow, that car is awesome. Any other plans for the future? And what about performance, any upgrades there?

The rear badge looks great and definatly something I want to do along with what I can see of the seat. The only thing that look a little off to me is the GT stencil "mustang" and "GT" seem like they are clashing a bit.

Overall though looks awsome! The red on black looks great.

No. But that is why I oversized the tires. had to fill up all that extra room.

The headrest I have wanted to do for a while but I found the contact info on a thread in the interior mod sub-forum. The place that does it is www.headrestembroidery.com. Costs $65 a pair and if you pay to express them both ways you should have them back in a week.
