I been coming to this site for a few minths now and I just finally got new pics of my car developed, so here they are. 1st of all I gotta tell everyone that it's a 2.3. I know some of you will probably harrass me about having a 4cyl stang and putting so much $ into it lol. But I happen to love my 2.3, great runner and great gas mileage. It took me 5 years of saving $ to get it like it is now! This 1st pic is just to show what it looked like when I bought it stock. So anyways, here's the info on the things I had done...

1990 LX 2.3l 4cyl. 5-speed hatchback - stock motor.
custom cat-back (y-pipe) stainless steel dual exhaust w/ 18" glass packs.
rear window louvers, abs plastic (jc whitney).
mach-1 style hood, fiberglass (cobra auto designs).
saleen style body kit, urethane (cervinis.com).
cobra wing '93, fiberglass (abcexcusive.com)
tailight covers, diagonal slotted (gts).
17" cobra-r '95 replica wheels, aluminum/alloy (afswheels.com).
saleen side stripes (performanceautosport.com)

just professionaly repainted in april by a local ford dealership, kept original color. I wanted the center molding to be white, so I just decided to have the whole thing redone to bring it back to that 'new' look and to fix a few small blemishes. Before the repainting the body was excellent, there was only 'very' minimal surface rust showing up under the wheel wells and a tiny bit around the keyhole on the rear hatch. Now it's rust free!

stereo - clarion cd deck, blaupunkt 5 1/4's in doors and 5x7's in back. in the hatch are 2 12" kicker comps powered by a 750w jensen amp.

Any comments or suggestions.....(and I don't want to hear "put a 5.0 in it" cuz I hear that just about every day ) I'd like to put a 2.3 turbo in it tho!

looks good. now when you have a 5.0 donor motor you'll be good to go! like the LX on the side molding. thats original. we all have to start somewhere, i drove a 90 lx 4 cyl as my daily driver when i first got married. had an 86 gt vert for fun. now i have a 92 lx 50 and 04 gt

Nice looking saleen replica there! Now instead of doing the 5.0 conversion, get a turbo on that thing!

Very nice looking car wild...I love the fox body mustangs.Nothing wrong with the old 4 banger either.Them darn motors will run forever and are cheap to run.Ive been looking for a white 89/90 myself lately and thought i almost was in luck last week at local sunday car swap meet. But darn thing was just to rusty to be worth fixing up.Why is it i find a nice fox that is wrong color and a beater that is always the right color (white) oh well ill keep looking till i fall over trying (i gotta have something to play around with this winter in the old garage)...

ps: love the paint job ya got...

A used T-bird Turbo Coupe motor shouldn't be too hard to find.

Thanks all! And yea I been lookin around getting prices and info on turbos with hopes to get one someday. One thing I wasnt sure about was if the t-bird turbo would fit right into my car? Other people say the svo turbo's will most likely fit, but how about the t-bird
The svo turbo's and t-bird turbo's are basically the same motor right?

the 2.3 turbo out of the turbocoupe will drop right in.

www.turboford.org can help you out alot with all the particulars of the swap. from what i hear its not terribly difficult.

PS: nice car!
