Yes, welcome and pics for sure. i will always have a soft spot for the Mustang GT 'verts of that time period as I had a 2007 GT/CS 'vert for many years.

Technically speaking, they're officially branded as the SVT Shelby GT500 despite the Cobra badging.... The reason, the GT500's are SVT model's built-in house by Ford at Flat Rock, Michigan...
Although Ford Motor Co. owns the exclusive trademark rights for the Cobra nameplate, however, Ford Motor Co. is not legally permitted to use the name Shelby Cobra, due that Shelby American owns the GT500 trademark logo...

it was meant as a respectful compliment on a beautiful Mustang.

and m05fastbackgt is correct there is no Cobra.
i misspoke.
My apology for my technically inaccurate compliment.
im a brand new Mustang owner and have a lot to learn about Mustangs.
and btw I know that’s not a Shelby Cobra.
with so many mods and variations I thought Shelby Mustangs also had the Cobra badging.
