Newbie: Ford Bodyshop manager in Va...
Hi my name is Chris and I am the bodyshop manager at Richmond Ford . We work on a lot of mustangs so if I can answer any question let me know. I am looking at a 69 fastback project car right now but don't know if I will pull the trigger on that.

Chris welcome to TMS. The 69 and 70 model years are my favorite Mustangs. You need two hands to count the engine options in 70 for example. Good luck on your hunt for a project car!

Chris, I have a question for you. Is your shop willing to paint parts (ie. Quarter Window Scoops, Side Scoops, etc) and what do you do in terms of paint matching? I have several parts that need to be painted and if I'm happy with the way they'd come out I also have a hood and bumper that need to be painted. I don't want to do blends.
