Hello Everyone,
Just joined recently and still need to introduce myself. I got myself a 2006 Torch Red V6 Coupe 5 speed two months ago. I'm loving it, it's my first ever new car and my first ever Mustang! I was really surprised with the stock performance of these new sixes. Power is impressive and from what I hear, a few good mods will wake it up even more. Of course, I would like to have gotten a GT but I'm only 23 and a senior at the University of Alabama and I can't afford those insurance premiums (I got quoted $4000 a year)!! So for now, a V6 it shall be and I'm proud to have it. I will have pictures of my car soon once mods get underway. My plan for the car is to do a C&l CAI, Bamachips SCT 2, Underdive Pulley, and dual exhaust for the performance mods. To the exterior I shall add GT Bullitts, GT front and rear bumpers and a Shaker Hood from CDC when it is released. And to the interior a white ball Hurst shifter. Perfectly retro in my opinion. Anyway, glad to be here at TMS. Everyone here seems really knowledgeable and I think this is a great place to discuss modifying our cars. Peace out. Roll Tide!
